"summary": "Syria has hinted that its military cooperation with Saudi Arabia could potentially evolve into a mutual defense agreement or even see Damascus join the Makkah Alliance, according to a diplomatic source speaking to the Syrian Arab News Agency. The source clarified that the current focus of the partnership lies in training, exchanging expertise, and providing military consultations that align with shared national interests. Saudi Arabia's delegations are set to initiate coordination visits to Syria in the coming month, further solidifying the military ties. However, the source dismissed reports about Syria's potential deployment of troops to Yemen, stating that such claims are unfounded and that Syria's main priorities at the moment are internal security, reconstruction, and economic recovery. This development comes after the signing of a military cooperation agreement between the Saudi and Syrian defense ministries during Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa's visit to Riyadh last week.",
