"summary": "Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin paid his respects to the family of Isaac Bampoe Addo, former Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), and his twin brother, Sidney Nii Oko Akuetteh Bampoe Addo, following their deaths on September 14, aged 59. The funeral ceremony was held at the Forecourt of the State House in Accra on November 7. President John Dramani Mahama, in a tribute, expressed the nation's grief, noting that the Addo brothers dedicated their working lives to public service. Mahama highlighted the Addos' contributions to public service, including their work on improving conditions, negotiating salaries, securing pensions, and building welfare and housing schemes for public servants. Sidney's data on crop production, prices, and national food supply informed policy, emphasizing the importance of both a respected workforce and evidence-based decision-making in government.",
