"account": "Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta paid tribute to the late Dr. Isaac Akuetteh Bampoe Addo, recalling their collaboration as a \"Odd Couple\" during their seven-year partnership in negotiations for the national daily minimum wage and base pay under the Public Service Joint Staff Negotiating Committee. Ofori-Atta described Dr. Addo as an enigma, a patriot and a formidable negotiator, whose leadership was particularly evident during trying times such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the domestic debt exchange programme. Dr. Addo passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 59, while his twin brother Sidney Nii Oko Bampoe Addo died on September 14, 2026, also at 59. A thanksgiving service is scheduled for November 8 at Winners Chapel, with a subsequent reception at Accra Academy.",
