"account": "Shah Alam authorities have urged social media users to delete any references to Aliff Daniel Adli, following his recent sentencing and public declaration of repentance. The Selangor Islamic religious department (Jais) made the request to assist the man and his family, who have expressed a desire to practice Islam without negative online presence.\n\nJais director Shahzihan Ahmad stated that the recommendation aimed to promote charity, dignity, respect, and community wellbeing among Muslims. On November 5, Aliff Daniel, his mother Rohizayanti Ramli, and his sister Nur Ranea Ezreen publicly recited their repentance before three witnesses. The ceremony took place the day after Aliff Daniel was ordered by a shariah lower court to complete three months of faith rehabilitation for his participation in a temple ritual in Batu Caves in January 2024. This included carrying a religious object, piercing his body, and kneeling before an idol.",
