"account": "James Agalga, Majority Leader, has reassured Parliament that those implicated in the alleged sale of Ghanaian service and diplomatic passports will face investigations, according to a report by GNA. This assurance came after Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin requested a briefing from Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa regarding the matter. Agalga stated that the government has taken steps to probe the allegations, noting that a Director of Passports from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, identified as Yahaya Amantana Mahama, has been interdicted for the ongoing investigations. Agalga emphasized that the government is committed to transparency and accountability, and any culpable individuals will be dealt with accordingly. The alleged sale of these passports, which are typically issued to public officials and diplomats, has raised public concerns and sparked calls for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged issuance or transfer to unauthorized individuals.",
