"summary": "Kenyan court sentences cult leader to 200 years in prison for deaths of 191 people, including 190 children. Paul Mackenzie, founder of the Good News International Church, was found guilty of murder last month and sentenced by the Mombasa High Court alongside over two dozen co-accused. The court imposed 100-year prison terms for each death linked to starvation and another 100 years for deaths resulting from direct homicide. Investigations revealed that Mackenzie convinced followers to relocate to Shakahola Forest in eastern Kenya, where he enforced prolonged fasting and subjected them to abuse and forced religious teachings.",
