"summary": "Abimbola Adekanmbi, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) gubernatorial candidate for the 2027 general elections in Oyo State, has challenged the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, to publicly present a list of his achievements at the National Assembly. According to the Daily Post Nigeria, Adekanmbi issued this challenge via a statement from the Oyo State APM Campaign Council, asserting that Alli performed below expectations during his time in the Senate.\n\nAdekanmbi stated that leadership progression should be based on proven competence and performance rather than political longevity or history. The Daily Post Nigeria reports that the APM candidate argued that public office holders seeking higher responsibilities must first demonstrate excellence in their current roles. Punch reported that Adekanmbi claimed the people of the state would not reward Alli’s alleged incompetence with an elevation to the Agodi Government House.",
