"account": "Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, has sent Diwali greetings to those observing the festival across the UAE and the world. In a X post, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his warm wishes, hoping the celebration would bring peace, hope, and prosperity to all. Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a significant Hindu celebration that marks the victory of good over evil and light over darkness. It is typically observed around the new moon in early autumn, with dates varying each year. During the festival, people decorate their homes with rangoli and flowers, light diyas, and gather for prayers, gift exchanges, and festive meals. In the UAE, Diwali is celebrated in homes, temples, and public spaces, showcasing the nation s diversity in welcoming various cultures and religious festivities. The Baps Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi prepared to welcome visitors for Diwali from November 6 to 10, hosting religious ceremonies and cultural activities. Meanwhile, Dubai s Global Village will host Diwali celebrations from November 6 to 10, featuring cultural performances, family activities, shopping, and entertainment, including a drone show on November 8. BurJuman Mall in Dubai will hold Diwali festivities until November 12, with workshops, musical performances, festive decorations, and Indian street food. Dubai Parks and Resorts will also organize Diwali events at Riverland Dubai from November 6 to 8, with live music, dance, and traditional Indian cuisine.",
