"summary": "The Federal Government has cancelled all admissions into the National Teachers’ Institute’s National Certificate in Education and degree programmes for the 2026 academic session, halting these programmes in response to regulatory breaches. The Federal Ministry of Education directed the institute to cease all university affiliations and degree-awarding arrangements, emphasizing that it is not authorized to award NCE or university degrees. The decision follows violations of Ministerial Operational Guidelines and aims to protect students already enrolled, with the NCCE to conduct comprehensive accreditation of existing programmes.",
