The Blue Devils were originally set to play North Texas in a game known as The Foundry Classic, marking the first-ever meeting between the two programs in women's basketball. However, the matchup has been canceled, leaving Duke scrambling to find a replacement opponent. In a bid to salvage the game, Duke reportedly reached out to multiple conferences, even offering to pay another team to travel or play on their campus. The Blue Devils have now confirmed they will face Florida Atlantic (FAU) in Boca Raton, Florida, on Sunday, with the North Texas team focusing on regrouping for their next game.",
