"account": "Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) plans to close specific roads in the Central Business District (CBD) in December to provide extra trading areas for merchants prior to Christmas. Accra Mayor Michael Kpakpo Allotey made this announcement while interacting with traders during the National Sanitation Day event in November. The Mayor stated that the goal is to offer short-term trading spots for merchants lacking permanent shops, enabling them to capitalize on the festive season for enhanced sales. The closure will take place on the section of the road between the Cocoa Board location and Kantamanto, as directed by the Minister of Local Government, Mahama Ayariga. Allotey urged traders to capitalize on this opportunity to boost their earnings during Christmas. He emphasized, \"We want you to make more sales this December than you have ever done.\" Additionally, the Mayor has instructed merchants stationed at bus stops to vacate their positions by Monday to ensure seamless traffic flow and maintain order in the bustling commercial area.",
