"account": "A bid by 72 undergraduate students at the African University of Communications and Business (AUCB) to halt their university's 23rd graduation ceremony through an ex parte injunction was unsuccessful, allowing the institution to proceed with the historic event. The students, who opted for certification from the University of Ghana rather than AUCB, sought an injunction from the High Court to prevent the ceremony scheduled for October 31, 2026. However, their application was dismissed, enabling AUCB to hold the graduation. The decision came after 206 students chose AUCB certification and 144 postgraduate students received their degrees at the ceremony, marking the first graduation under the university's new autonomous status following its attainment of a Presidential Charter.",
