"account": "In the wake of the New York Mets' disappointing season, manager Carlos Mendoza has found himself at a rival team: the Philadelphia Phillies. Mendoza, formerly the Mets' manager, has been hired as the team's infield coach and third base coach for the 2027 season. Mendoza, who was let go by the Mets after a poor start to the campaign, expressed his excitement about the new opportunity, stating \"I'm ready to go\" according to The Athletic's Charlotte Varnes.\n\nMendoza's move to the Phillies comes as the organization has made significant changes to its coaching staff. Long-time hitting coach Kevin Long was replaced by Peter Fatse, and infield coach Bobby Dickerson was among those fired, along with hitting coach Kevin Long. The Phillies will now rely on Mendoza, a respected figure in baseball, to guide their infielders and third basemen, particularly as they attempt to improve defensively and address potential voids left by free agents such as Alec Bohm, Luis Arraez, and Edmundo Sosa.",
