"account": "France anticipates another weekend of mass demonstrations, as student protests over the cost of living and school conditions persist, showing no signs of ceasing. On Saturday, students and labor unions are scheduled to participate in an authorized march through central Paris, protesting the high cost of living and advocating for young people. The country's \"Yellow Vest\" movement, which gained prominence eight years ago by violently opposing a proposed fuel tax increase, has declined to join the student rally. Instead, they are organizing a banned event at Paris Place de la Concorde, near parliament and the Elysee Palace, calling for \"mass disobedience.\" Interior Minister Laurent Nunez announced that 70,000 police and security forces will be deployed nationwide over the weekend, preparing for potential rioters and looters. The heightened police presence follows weeks of increasingly violent protests, notably on October 17, when rioting caused over a billion euros in damage. While authorities claim most protests have remained peaceful, violent clashes with police persist as outgoing President Emmanuel Macron and his administration grapple with public discontent over rising living costs. Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu plans to meet with trade and employee unions on Monday, but organizers argue that only addressing the demands of workers, civil servants, young people, and pensioners will quell the unrest. The protests began with students demanding education system improvements and unions advocating for wage hikes and tax reforms. Macron's government has pledged to raise the minimum wage and increase funding for schools and teachers, but faces fiscal challenges as debt, currently 119% of GDP, continues to spiral out of control in Europe's second-largest economy.",
