"summary": "The death toll from a Russian airstrike on the settlement of Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region has risen to 55, according to the State Emergency Service. On Saturday, Nov. 7, emergency crews recovered the bodies and remains of nine additional victims from beneath rubble.\n\nThe Kyiv Post reports that the initial aerial bombardment occurred on Nov. 2, when two Russian guided aerial bombs struck the Dzherelo gymnasium and an adjacent utility structure where civilians were receiving humanitarian assistance. One hour later, Russian aviation dropped a 3,000-kilogram FAB-3000 high-explosive bomb on the facility’s underground shelter, which served as a municipal heating point and public shelter.\n\nRescue operations and debris-clearing efforts are ongoing, though Kyiv Post notes that conditions are complicated by the threat of secondary Russian strikes. Additionally, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR) stated it has identified the Russian commanding officer responsible for planning the strike and six tactical aviation pilots who carried out the mission.",
