"account": "The Cardiff Devils secured a hard-fought 2-1 overtime victory against the Dundee Stars, maintaining their top position in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) on Friday, 6 November. The Stars, hosting the game at Vindico Arena, were kept scoreless by the Devils until Brandon Estes equalized midway through the second period with a point shot. The Devils capitalized on the ensuing overtime, as Kristoff Kontos scored his first league goal of the season, giving Cardiff the crucial extra point. Devils head coach Paul Thompson expressed relief, stating, \"It's two points, it's a win,\" acknowledging that despite having ample opportunities, they did not capitalize on scoring chances in the offensive zone. Cardiff, currently holding 13 points alongside second-placed Sheffield Steelers, will face Fife Flyers on Sunday, 8 November at 17:00 GMT.",
