"summary": "Senator Ledama Olekina has urged the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) to remove Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) membership register following his formation of a new political party, the Forum for Economic Development Agenda (FEDA). Ole Kina argued that Ole Lenku’s decision to establish FEDA and assume its leadership automatically amounted to resignation from ODM under Section 14A of the Political Parties Act, and he called on the Registrar of Political Parties to enforce the law and immediately update ODM’s membership records to reflect the governor’s new political affiliation.",
