"summary": "President Donald Trump announced on Friday that Stephen Miller will replace Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff. The decision follows the Republican loss of control of the U.S. Congress and follows Wiles' resignation on Thursday night, according to a White House official. Trump described Miller as a \"great fighter\" and stated that he wanted to make a change because \"sometimes in life you have to make moves.\"\n\nThe Jakarta Post identifies Miller as an ultra-loyalist and the architect of Trump's hardline immigration policy. Senator Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) criticized the decision, stating that the president \"needs to rethink\" the choice. The Hill reports that Tillis has previously criticized various presidential advisors for providing bad advice.",
