"account": "The Barisan Nasional candidate for Serkam, Datuk Azman Abdullah, emphasized the importance of providing young people with opportunities to showcase their talents, including in esports, which is becoming increasingly popular among the younger generation in Melaka. Azman, who has extensive experience in youth leadership, stated that his previous roles at various levels of government and as a youth organization leader have given him valuable insights into the needs and aspirations of young people, particularly those in Serkam. He said that different age groups have distinct priorities, and leaders must adopt suitable approaches to understand their aspirations better. Azman highlighted the growing interest in digital gaming among young people as an opportunity to develop through esports programs. He also mentioned seeking assistance from a former Serkam resident who has competed internationally in esports to help create programs appealing to young people. The initiative aims not only to support youth engagement during the 16th Melaka election campaign but also to gather feedback from youths on their needs and aspirations. In his election manifesto, Azman urged young voters to thoroughly examine the pledges made by all contesting parties, emphasizing that these promises represent commitments to the people should they be given the mandate to form the state government. Azman is facing a three-way contest for the Serkam seat against candidates from Pakatan Harapan and Bersatu.",
