"account": "Former “Batman” star Robert Pattinson has reportedly undergone screen tests for the role of James Bond, according to TheWrap. Joining the competition are Callum Turner, Jack Lowden, and Josh O’Connor. Screen tests commenced two weeks ago. Pattinson, who has had a busy year of starring in A24’s “Primetime” and being in contention for an Oscar for his performance as Chris Hansen in “To Catch a Predator,” has also been seen in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune: Part 3.” He also recently completed “The Batman: Part 2” in London. The interest in Pattinson’s potential casting is evidence of the enduring popularity of the 007 franchise, which prompted Amazon to acquire $20 million for full creative control. The upcoming Bond film, directed by Villeneuve, will mark the first installment since Daniel Craig’s last outing in 2021’s “No Time to Die.” Steven Knight of “Peaky Blinders” fame has been hired by Amazon MGM Studios to write the screenplay for the 26th James Bond movie.",
