"account": "On August 17, a large piece of plaster fell from the ceiling of an HDB unit in Yishun, Singapore, where an 86-year-old woman was present. According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident occurred at Block 118 Yishun Ring Road, and only the woman and her son were at home. The couple heard a loud crashing sound from the kitchen bathroom around 9 am. Upon investigation, they found part of the ceiling above the sink collapsed, with plaster scattered across the floor. The woman's son, Chen, informed authorities about the renovation works being carried out in the flat above. A staff member arrived to inspect the damage, took photographs, and coordinated with the upstairs unit's contractor. The fallen plaster weighed approximately 2 to 3 kg, with dimensions of 50cm in length, 30cm in width, and 5cm in thickness. Chen reported cracks in the ceiling of his master bedroom toilet on the same day as the renovation works began. The contractor carrying out the renovation acknowledged that water from a leak may have caused the plaster to become loose. The contractor assured that they would repair the ceiling free of charge after completing the renovation.",
