"summary": "Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Anthony Santander is facing backlash and calls for an apology after posting Islamophobic content targeting Michigan Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed on social media. The posts, shared via Santander's Instagram story, claimed that \"America voted for Sharia Last Night!\" and \"Islam is not peaceful,\" referencing El-Sayed, who became the first Muslim elected to serve in the U.S. Senate. Both posts have since been removed, with a Blue Jays spokesperson stating that individual comments do not represent the organization's values and that baseball is for everyone. The incident has sparked calls for Santander to apologize and urged the Blue Jays to take a stronger stance against anti-Muslim rhetoric.",
