"account": "On October 25, 2026, at Madison Square Garden, St. John's freshman center Theo Edema scored in the second half against the Texas Longhorns, making a strong first impression. Known for adjusting quickly to new environments, Edema, who moved from Nigeria to America, was expected to take time to develop his basketball skills. Despite not being the player he could become yet, Edema is already leaving a mark on the Red Storm team with his positive attitude and eagerness to improve. Head coach Rick Pitino compared Edema's personality to former team captain Zuby Ejiofor's, highlighting Edema's competitive nature, willingness to learn, and charming smile. Edema's commitment to St. John's was driven by his aspiration to be like Ejiofor, who benefited greatly from Pitino's guidance. Although Edema was absent in Monday's season opener due to strategic reasons, he is expected to make his college basketball debut against Iona on Sunday. With his energetic demeanor, Edema promises to bring enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to the team, eager to learn and grow as a basketball player.",
