"account": "Austin Simmons, a quarterback at Missouri, has reportedly re-signed with the school for the upcoming 2027 season, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. The contract allows the 21-year-old to explore the NFL Draft after the season. Simmons has been generating significant buzz in the NFL Draft circles since transferring to Missouri from Ole Miss, where he suffered an ankle injury in an early-season game against Kentucky. This injury allowed Trinidad Chambliss, a former Division II standout, to take over as the Rebels' QB1. If Simmons stays in college football for another season, he will spend it with the Tigers, as per Thamel's report. Missouri's re-signing of Simmons signals its commitment to retaining top talent and recruiting a strong roster for the season.",
