"account": "President Trump has announced that Stephen Miller will replace Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff, marking a significant change in his administration's leadership. In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his pleasure at Miller's appointment, describing him as \"one of my most trusted advisors.\" Miller, currently the Deputy Chief of Staff, will take up the role of Chief of Staff starting Monday, November 9, 2026.\n\nSusie Wiles, who has served as Chief of Staff since Trump's return to the White House, has submitted her resignation. The White House thanked her for her outstanding service, praising her contributions to border security, tax cuts, and putting America first. Wiles also acknowledged the extraordinary people she worked with, emphasizing her lifelong commitment to the president and his mission.\n\nTrump's decision to elevate Miller appears to be a reaffirmation of his governing style, despite the midterm elections' public rejection of his agenda. While Trump has expressed a willingness to work with incoming Democratic leadership, Miller's appointment might foster a more contentious relationship. Earlier in October, Trump dismissed the notion of changing his chief of staff, stating, \"It's fake news. I could not be more happy with Susie.\"",
