"summary": "The University of Madras and Sutherland Global Services have agreed to collaborate in setting up an AI laboratory at the Department of Women Studies. The agreement comes after the university approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the business transformation company, which will upgrade its existing Gender Lab allocation of ₹50 lakh. The lab will offer an online course on Gender Sensitisation and Workplace Readiness to students across the university's four campuses. Additionally, the MoU seeks to establish an Artificial Intelligence Lab for Inclusive Education that will develop e-modules for a course on Application of Artificial Intelligence. The collaboration aims to revive and expand the Gender Lab, which was previously closed due to the lockdown and destroyed its digital equipment.",
