"account": "On Friday, US President Donald Trump announced that Stephen Miller would replace Susie Wiles as White House chief of staff. This move comes after Republicans lost control of Congress in the midterm elections. Miller, who currently holds the position of deputy chief of staff, will assume the top White House staff role starting Monday, November 9, 2026.\n\nIn a post on Truth Social, Trump praised Miller as a \"long-time loyalist\" and \"architect of his immigration crackdown\". Wiles, who Trump described as \"one of my most trusted advisors,\" will transition to Trump’s political operation. The president gave no reason for the change or details about Wiles' new responsibilities.\n\nThe announcement followed the Republicans' bruising midterm election defeat, with Democrats gaining control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. As Trump prepares to face an opposition-controlled Congress for the remainder of his presidency, this move signifies a significant shift in his administration.",
