"account": "Vice-President Kashim Shettima claims that Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has sabotaged his own chances in the 2027 election through falsehoods and inaccurate figures. The vice president remarked this during a campaign event in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. Shettima noted that the Nigerian public no longer pays attention to Obi's speeches. \"I hear my friend Peter Obi is back in the country after sneaking out to have a rest. He might have avoided Lagos and Abuja on arrival,\" Shettima stated. \"And clearly this gentle man has run himself out of this race with his lies and bogus statistics. We warned him that he'll get to that.\"\n\nShettima went on to suggest that Obi has squandered any goodwill he might have had. \"Peter Obi has clearly messed up and squandered away his goodwill; he no longer excites when he speaks these days. He draws suspicions, too bad for him.\"\n\nEarlier, President Bola Tinubu had inaugurated several projects undertaken by Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom. Among these projects was a recently built terminal at the Victor Attah International Airport. Tinubu, who referred to his visit to Akwa Ibom as a homecoming, reminisced about his past contributions to the region's development. He called Governor Umo Eno a visionary leader with intentions to leave lasting legacies in Akwa Ibom. Tinubu expressed satisfaction with Eno's commitment, leading the Federal Government to grant the Victor Attah International Airport an international flight status.",
