"summary": "Thomas Markle, the estranged father of Meghan Markle, was arrested on Friday in Florida and charged with possessing child sexual abuse material. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, authorities seized approximately 78 items, including slides, film negatives, and books, from a storage unit in California. First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli stated that the allegations are extremely serious and that Mr. Markle will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of federal law. This development follows an investigation initiated by local police in the Philippines after Thomas Markle Jr. allegedly discovered similar imagery in their shared home. Meghan Markle's thoughts are with any children who may have been harmed, as she expressed deep distress over the news.",
