"summary": "President Bola Tinubu inaugurated the upgraded Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Friday. During the event, Punch Nigeria reported that the President commended Governor Umo Eno for completing the development vision started by previous administrations. Addressing supporters at an All Progressives Congress endorsement rally, Tinubu expressed confidence in winning the 2027 presidential election and urged residents to collect their Permanent Voter Cards to support his re-election bid. He promised to prioritize education, job creation, skill acquisition, and development if granted a second term.\n\nSeparately, an accident occurred on Oron Road involving a bus conveying women to the airport to welcome the President and a security Hilux van. Daily Post Nigeria reported that several people sustained injuries in the collision, which left both vehicles badly damaged. While the Federal Road Safety Corps' Akwa Ibom State Command confirmed the incident, it had not yet established the total number of casualties or the specific circumstances surrounding the crash.",
