"account": "The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Women Basketball Club showcased their prowess in a dominating 77-46 victory over Flames Female Basketball Club in the 2026 FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League Zone 3 Qualifiers. Held at the Samuel Doe Stadium in Monrovia, the Nigerian champions maintained control throughout all four quarters, securing a 31-point margin of victory.\n\nEarly in the first quarter, Queens, the team's nickname, asserted their dominance with a 20-11 lead through precise half-court offense. MFM's defensive intensity intensified in the middle quarters, holding Flames to a mere 8 and 7 points in the subsequent quarters, effectively ending their chances of a comeback even before the final period.\n\nDespite Flames showing offensive spirit late in the fourth quarter with 20 points, MFM responded with their own 25 points, sealing the 77-46 win. The team's success is attributed to captain Ukamaka Okoh's impressive performance with 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist, veteran forward Regina Iornumbe's 10 points and 6 steals, and Marvis Hembam's 9 points and 9 assists. Dalphne Olugbagho and Yakhira Buzugbe each contributed 7 points.\n\nThis victory marks the second win in two matches for MFM, following their 59-36 triumph over Nigerian rivals First Bank basketball club. The team aims to secure a spot in the FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League final tournament, set to take place from December 11-20, 2026, in Cairo.",
