"account": "The Abia State Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of a landlady whose remains were found in a soakaway pit in her neighbor's compound in Umueleghele, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area, Abia State. Commissioner of Police AIG Wilfred Afolabi confirmed the investigation on Friday during a press briefing. The woman's disappearance, which led to community searches, initially seemed to be mistaken for travel, but her absence raised concerns as days passed. The traditional ruler, town crier, and youths were mobilized for the search, and the area was thoroughly combed, including farms, pathways, bushes, and uncompleted buildings. The discovery of her remains in a 30-foot soakaway pit was a surprise. Community sources alleged that the woman was involved in a land dispute with a man named 'New World' and refused to sell her land to him, leading to her disappearance. They also suggested that acid might have been poured into the pit, and some parts of her body were missing. However, these claims, including ritual motives, remain unconfirmed by the police. The suspect was handed over to the police for investigation.",
