"account": "Iran appears open to engaging in talks with the United States, according to a recent statement. An Iranian source confirmed that Tehran has responded favorably to a mediator's proposal, but the country is awaiting reciprocal confidence-building actions from Washington before resuming negotiations. The source emphasized that trust-building measures should be mutual, as Iran remains committed to regional stability and does not fear threats. Iran has seven demands for the US, which include lifting sanctions, releasing frozen assets, ending blockades, halting hostilities, securing compensation for the war, and withdrawing US reinforcements. Meanwhile, Iran is reportedly reviewing proposals from mediators concerning its nuclear program, signaling progress in Qatar-led mediation efforts. The US proposal reportedly requests Iran to dilute its stockpile of highly enriched uranium, which Iran has previously rejected moving to a third country for processing. The US also insists on reopening the Strait of Hormuz to global shipping.",
