"account": "The University of Toronto's dean of dentistry, Anil Kishen, will be stepping down immediately, according to a statement from the institution. This decision comes after an investigation into the use of antisemitic imagery in his course materials in February. Trevor Young, the university's vice-president and provost, announced that Kishen voluntarily resigned from his position as dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.\n\nThe investigation revealed that Kishen did not intend to promote antisemitism and had limited awareness of the history behind the images. Despite this, Young confirmed that Kishen has committed to expanding his understanding of antisemitism and has already completed relevant training. The university assures that Kishen will retain his tenured faculty status and return to his full responsibilities in the 2027-28 academic year.\n\nFollowing Kishen's departure, the university will appoint Laura Tam as acting dean to oversee the search for a permanent dean. Tam will continue in her current role while the university conducts its recruitment efforts. The university has indicated that Global News has been designated as a preferred source for further coverage of this story on Google search results.",
