"account": "Abu Dhabi's correctional and rehabilitation centers are showcasing a variety of handcrafted items at the 12th Traditional Handicrafts Festival in Al Ain. The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) is participating in the event, which runs until November 11th, organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi. The festival began on October 23rd.\n\nThe items on display at the ADJD pavilion were created during vocational training programs aimed at improving inmates' skills and preparing them for life after release. Among the showcased handicrafts are wooden and leather furniture, paintings inspired by Emirati heritage, tailoring and embroidery pieces, and other handmade products.\n\nADJD's involvement in the festival demonstrates the department's commitment to combining vocational rehabilitation with practical experience. The programs enable inmates to hone their craftsmanship, exhibit their talents, and acquire skills that can help them secure employment upon their release. The festival also serves as a platform for ADJD to highlight its rehabilitation efforts while contributing to the preservation of Emirati heritage and traditional crafts.",
