"account": "Elon Musk has reportedly indicated that Tesla will cease production of the Cybertruck next year, shifting resources towards the development of more self-driving Cybercab cars. Lead engineer Wes Morrill's comments on X suggest the vehicle is being discontinued, stating that \"Cybertruck was an incredible technology development platform and lives on through Cybercab.\" Despite its angular design and distinctive stainless steel body, the Cybertruck faced delays and disappointing sales since its 2023 launch. Fans mourned its discontinuation, with some calling it \"the best vehicle Tesla has ever made.\" Musk, however, defended the vehicle, stating it was \"way more awesome than people realize\" and \"the best product Tesla has ever made to date.\" The Cybertruck garnered 146,000 orders in 2019 but faced significant challenges, including inauspicious demonstrations, recalls, and a high price tag. Musk noted that the vehicle needs to be priced affordably, resulting in a $61,000 list price in 2023. The \"Cyberbeast\" model, slated for 2026, will cost $102,000.",
