"account": "In 2026, Mumbai's FPJ Eco Ganesha Mumbai Mayor’s Awards recognized 20 housing societies for their sustainable Ganeshotsav celebrations. The awards, held at the PL Deshpande Auditorium in Dadar, were organized by the Free Press Journal and the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. This year, the initiative expanded its categories to include housing societies, aiming to promote collective community participation in environmentally responsible festivities. The 20 winners were selected from over 2,000 entries received from across the city's municipal zones. Notable initiatives included eco-friendly immersion practices, natural decorations, and energy-efficient lighting arrangements. The expansion of the awards to housing societies marks a significant step in encouraging entire neighborhoods to adopt sustainable practices. Dignitaries present at the ceremony included Mumbai's Mayor Ritu Tawde, actors Harshita Gaur and Onkar Raut, along with other prominent figures in architecture, cinema, and insurance.",
