"summary": "FWIFT, the Forum for Women in Film, TV, and All Digital Media, has emphasized the importance of training and collaboration for women in the film, TV, and digital media industries. This message was highlighted during FWIFT's national convention held on October 29, 2026, at Glover Memorial Hall, Lagos. The convention, themed “One Industry, Many Voices: Building Together,” brought together women from various sectors of the industry to support one another, grow the industry, and build real agency for women professionals. The convention featured keynote speeches from Sandra Mbanefo Obiago and Erelu Bisi Fayemi, who stressed the significance of collaboration and humility in achieving success. FWIFT has also announced three future plans: a Law Clinic to provide practical advice on setting up companies and protecting the rights of women in media, a Finance Workshop to unveil grant and finance packages available to media professionals, and a commitment to follow up on pledges made during the convention to build real agency for women professionals.",
