In a statement addressed to Nigerians, Isreal insisted that Davido was unaware of and did not approve of the individuals who joined the WhatsApp group linked to the controversy. He questioned why Davido would engage in disputes with music producer Samklef or request the late singer Mohbad's music catalogue or attempt to sign his former associate, Zinoleesky. Isreal revealed that some individuals had pressured the singer at the time to unfollow Naira Marley on Instagram, but Davido categorically refused, stating that he wanted the police to handle the matter and not rely on hearsay. The statement maintained that Davido and Naira Marley were on good terms and had even collaborated on a hit song. Isreal addressed the incident at Naira Marley's residence, clarifying that it involved Tolu, a former member of Davido's 30BG crew, and one of Naira Marley's associates. He added that no one was physically harmed during the disagreement.",
