"account": "Sony has reintroduced its famous MDR-3 headphones, keeping the same distinctive look from the 1980s but adding USB-C connectivity. These headphones now cost $60. Additionally, Sony has introduced a Stranger Things-themed version priced at $80. The principle behind this cyclical trend in fashion, known as Laver's Law, explains why styles that were popular two decades ago resurface again. With accessories and gadgets, particularly in the realm of music, there's a renewed interest in retro technology and equipment. Sony is among the audio brands capitalizing on this trend with wired headphones that evoke the 1980s aesthetic but with contemporary features. The updated version, known as the MDR-3R, retains the original's familiar orange earpads, minimalistic design, spring steel band, and similar weight of 38 grams, which is slightly lighter than the initial release.",
