"account": "KUALA LUMPUR: Nile Tech Sdn Bhd has not received access to the MyJPJ database, as confirmed by the Transport Ministry. The ministry clarified that the insurance renewal feature in MyJPJ is merely a link that redirects users to Nile Tech's portal to complete transactions. All insurance renewal processes and transactions occur on Nile Tech's portal. Should a user proceed on this portal, their information will be governed by the portal's terms, conditions, and privacy policy. The ministry responded to a question from Datuk Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh (PN-Besut) regarding safeguards for preventing third-party access to personal data. Nile Tech was appointed as a platform provider for vehicle insurance renewal to offer an alternative online channel and decrease physical counter visits. This appointment was made through a process established by the ministry and the Road Transport Department, and it does not incur any cost to the government.",
