"account": "Canva, the billion-dollar startup co-founded by billionaire couple Cliff Obrecht and Cameron Adams, is undergoing a major restructuring, impacting over 1,200 employees. This comes after the company experienced a decade-long slowdown in expansion and anticipates the reshaping of the world due to technological advancements like artificial intelligence. CEO Cathy Perkins announced the changes, which include relocations, role shifts, and layoffs, intending to align the company's structure with its future needs. The restructuring aims to reduce subspecialization, eliminate organizational layers, and expand in-person collaboration, allowing employees to focus more on building and less on navigating a rigid structure. Affected workers will receive six months of salary, 12 months of continued healthcare coverage, and career and well-being assistance. Perkins and Obrecht, with a combined net worth of US$15 billion, and Adams, with a fortune of $3.8 billion, are among Australia's wealthiest individuals. Canva, valued at $42 billion in August 2025, boasts more than 265 million monthly active users.",
