"account": "Oscar-nominated actress Rosamund Pike and writer-director Leslye Headland are collaborating on a new horror film titled \"Feed.\" The movie will be produced by Pike through her Primitive Streak banner, with support from Magnolia Entertainment, Spooky Pictures, ZQ Entertainment, and Agile Films. The film is expected to premiere at the American Film Market.\n\n\"Feed\" is inspired by the 2022 Finnish horror film \"Hatching\" and follows the story of \"a desperate mother\" who discovers a collagen supplement that could turn her tween gymnast daughter into a social media influencer. While the daughter gains fame and success, the mother witnesses a monstrous transformation in her child. The film explores themes of parental ambition, the illusion of protection, and the fine line between predator and prey.\n\nPike, who will produce the film, describes the project as an examination of appetite, both in the online community that monetizes youth and beauty, and in the mother's desire for her daughter's success. Headland, known for her audacious and disturbing work, praises Pike as one of the boldest actors in the industry today. The film marks Headland's return to directing after a 2024 cancelation of \"The Acolyte.\"",
