"account": "In Kashmir, the threat of terrorism remains despite having only one active local terrorist, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sujit Kumar stated on Thursday. The lone active local is a 21-year-old resident of Kulgam in south Kashmir, identified as Lateef Ahmad. He orchestrated the Anantnag attack on July 25, 2026, which resulted in the death of one policeman. Kumar mentioned that foreign terrorists continue to travel through the Poonch-Budgam axis, which connects the Pir Panjal valley with the Kashmir valley, and are constantly changing their locations. The police are actively tracking these foreign terrorists. Kumar emphasized that the security agencies must continue their operations to neutralize the remnants of the terrorist ecosystem.",
