"account": "The story of \"The Terminal List\" is set to continue as Chris Pratt will reprise his role as James Reece in an adaptation of Jack Carr's \"Savage Son,\" the third book in Carr's \"Terminal List\" series. Prime Video has greenlit the extension, which will be produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media. It remains unclear whether \"Savage Son\" will serve as the third season of \"The Terminal List\" or if it will be a standalone series within the \"Terminal List\" universe. The announcement follows the success of \"The Terminal List\" Season 2, which debuted on Prime Video on October 21 and achieved ratings success, ranking as the No. 5 most-watched streaming series and No. 2 most-watched streaming original with 830 million minutes in its first week. Peter Friedlander, head of global TV for Amazon MGM Studios, expressed enthusiasm for the franchise, stating that Carr's work resonates deeply with audiences and that Pratt, along with the entire team, bring unmatched dedication to each episode. \"Savage Son,\" based on Carr's own novel with the same title, is described as a fast-paced military thriller featuring James Reece, a former Navy SEAL sniper, facing his most intense and personal mission yet. The first season of \"The Terminal List\" premiered in July 2022, with a notable four-year gap between the first two seasons due to the Hollywood strikes of 2023. \"The Terminal List\" story continues as Pratt returns as James Reece for the adaptation of \"Savage Son.\"",
