"account": "Week 10 of the 2026 college football season presents a challenging selection process for ESPN's College GameDay. Rather than showcasing a high-profile matchup from the Big Ten or SEC conferences, GameDay will travel to South Bend, Indiana to broadcast a game on the road featuring the No. 1 ranked team, Notre Dame, against the No. 11 ranked team, Miami. Following the release of the inaugural College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday, Notre Dame found itself ranked 11th due to its weaker schedule and a loss to BYU. To secure a spot in the CFP, Notre Dame requires a victory. ESPN passed over several top-tier matchups, including Georgia at Ole Miss, LSU at Alabama, BYU at Utah, Texas at Missouri, Tennessee at Kentucky and Ohio State at Oregon. Historically, GameDay has visited two Big 12 and Big Ten schools, and five SEC schools through the first nine weeks. However, they have yet to be at an ACC campus, but have attended games where Clemson and Miami were the opponents.",
