"summary": "Electronic Arts shut down the developer BioWare last month, resulting in the cancellation of Mass Effect 5, according to Rock Paper Shotgun. Rock Paper Shotgun noted that a leaked trailer and former developers had previously made the project sound interesting.\n\nA documentary titled Massive Effect: The BioWare Story is expected to arrive next year. Engadget reports that filming for the project, commissioned by Canada's Super Channel, began two years before the studio was shut down. Producer Shane Fennessey stated the film will cover the 31-year history of the studio and how a group of underdogs from the Alberta prairies built the company.\n\nThe film is expected to feature founders Ray Muzyka, Greg Zeschuk, and Augustine Yip, as well as Mass Effect director Casey Hudson and voice actor Jennifer Hale. Engadget also notes that former EA CEO John Riccitiello, several BioWare developers, and other gaming figures will appear in the documentary.",
