"summary": "Colts' wide receiver Josh Downs has addressed the ongoing trade speculation surrounding his future with the Indianapolis Colts. In an interview with reporters, Downs clarified that he did not directly tell the team he no longer wanted to play for them, despite the rumors circulating. Instead, he emphasized his commitment to the organization, stating that he remains with the Colts because that is where he was drafted and where he is on contract. The situation has become increasingly awkward, as Downs has recorded 30 receptions for 330 yards and one touchdown through eight games this season, but his production has slowed recently. Despite this, head coach Shane Steichen confirmed that Downs remains available and participated in a full practice, indicating that the team is still considering him a key part of their roster ahead of the upcoming matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.",
