"account": "This month, six more OnePlus devices will receive the ColorOS 17 update, bringing the total to eight devices. The transformation of OnePlus into a fully controlled arm of Oppo is nearly complete, as the Android 17 update schedule has been made public. With OxygenOS officially phased out, OnePlus devices will now run ColorOS. The ColorOS Global account on X revealed the update schedule, listing several Oppo and Realme devices, as well as the following OnePlus devices: OnePlus Open, OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11, and OnePlus Pad 2. More updates are expected in December and Q1 2027, including the OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11, and OnePlus Pad 2. Users of these OnePlus devices should tap the system update button multiple times on the specified date, as updates generally roll out in waves. The change from OxygenOS to ColorOS is largely symbolic, as both operating systems have been virtually indistinguishable since the merging of software teams between Oppo and OnePlus. Both OnePlus and Oppo are rolling out their Android 17 updates simultaneously, demonstrating a general improvement across major OS updates. OnePlus describes ColorOS 17 as bringing smarter experiences, smoother interactions, and more ways to make the phone work around the user. At its core, ColorOS 17 focuses on the idea of \"Flow with AI, Flow Everywhere,\" aiming to make technology feel more natural and seamless in daily interactions and transitions between devices and tasks.",
