"account": "U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer Juan Cornelio Diaz, 38, is accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend Andrea Cantarini, a 37-year-old mother, inside her Bronx apartment on Tuesday night. The incident occurred when Cantarini called her father for help during a phone conversation where she was reportedly \"begging for her life.\" Upon arrival at the scene, police found both individuals with gunshot wounds to the head and pronounced them dead at the location. Cantarini's father, retired NYPD officer Rudy Cantarini, stated that Andrea had called him at 8:47 PM and was desperately pleading for her life. Earlier that evening, according to family members, Diaz allegedly displayed a firearm during an incident at their home, causing Andrea to believe he was still at the residence despite her father's belief that he was at work. The CBP confirmed the involvement of one of its officers in the incident, describing it as an apparent murder-suicide. No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing.",
